Merge PDF without uploading
Put several PDFs in the order you want and join them into a single file. Nothing is sent to a server.
🔒 Your files never leave your deviceMerge order
Drag an item, or use the arrows. Files are joined from top to bottom.
Going the other way? Use Split PDF. Turning photos into a document? Use Image to PDF. Both are free and work the same way.
Why merge PDFs offline
The documents people most often need to merge — signed contracts, scanned invoices, expense receipts, medical paperwork — are exactly the documents that should not be uploaded to a service you have never heard of. Most free PDF sites process your file on their servers and keep it there for some period of time. This page loads a PDF library into your browser and does the whole job locally, so there is no upload, no queue and no retention policy to read.
Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs really not uploaded?
Correct. You can verify it: load this page, turn off your internet connection, and the merge still works. Nothing is transmitted at any point.
How many files can I merge, and how large?
There is no imposed limit. The practical ceiling is your device's memory, so several hundred megabytes may become slow on an older machine.
Can it open password-protected PDFs?
No. Encrypted PDFs cannot be opened. Remove the password first, then merge.
Can I tell the files apart in the list?
Once a file is added, a preview of its first page appears next to the name. That helps when the file names all look alike, such as scan_001.pdf. The preview engine is only downloaded after you add a file, so the page itself still opens instantly.
How do I change the order?
Drag an item in the list, or use the ↑ and ↓ buttons on each row. Files are joined from top to bottom.
Are bookmarks and links preserved?
Page content and links inside pages are preserved. The document-level outline (bookmarks) may be dropped during the merge.
